Fujitsu Stylistic ST5111 and ST5112 Tablets

Fujitsu announced Stylistic ST5111 and Stylistic ST5112 tablet PCs, featuring Intel’s Core Duo ULV (ultra-low voltage) U2500 processors. According to the press release, the Stylistic ST5111 Tablet PC features a 10.4-inch screen, the largest front-lit reflective display in the industry, optimized for outdoor viewing and direct sunlight conditions. The Stylistic ST5112 Tablet PC offers a 12.1-inch bright transmissive indoor/outdoor XGA display with greater than 160° wide viewing angles.
The Stylistic ST5111 and ST5112 support up to 4GB of main memory and up to 100GB SATA hard drive, while the graphics is powered by Intel’s integrated Media Accelerator 950.
Regarding Internet and networking, the new Fujitsu Stylistic tablets have wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, integrated Bluetooth and a 56K modem.
Those tablets have two USB port each, Infrared ports and IEEE 1394 ports, as same as PCMCIA slots.
The Fujitsu’s ST5111 and ST5112 belong to the new Stylistic ST5100 series with magnesium-alloy lower housing. The hard drive data on those tablet PCs is protected with the new Fujitsu Shock Sensor utility. The sensor can also be set to password-lock the system if it is touched, preventing the unauthorized access of data. Stylistic ST5100 Tablet PCs have a lot of other security features such as embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM), a dedicated Smart Card slot, Fujitsu Security Application Panel, two-level hard drive password, BIOS-enabled Computrace/LoJack theft recovery service support, and a universal lock slot.
